fountain that is famous for pros grinding and transfering into the empty fountain this is a great spot and has stairs and hubbas and its mostly waxed up, theres no grind blocks if youre a good skater and you are in sf then definitly check out this spot you get kicked out pretty fast depending on the day but sometimes you dont get kicked out at all just keep it cutty

Outside the the Francis Scott Key School, a mini-ledge that's been broken in, fun to mess around with. Around the corner a 7-stair with a nice runway but not so nice landing runway, as it's mostly blocked, however if you land at an angle or doing rails, there's enough space to roll away.

Before skaters used this spot, it was used by addicts who needed a hideout to discreetly smoke crack (aka hubba) without getting caught by the cops. The six stairs with large concrete ledges made a perfect hiding place. THis is how this famous san francisco skate spot got it's name, 'hubba hideout'. This spot was fully skatestopped in the 90s but more recently has seen a revitalization when unknown skaters removed the skate stopping devices. In march 2007, the city had the landing surface rutted and covered in gravel making it unskatable.

Huf is skate shop, sneaker geek heaven and hip clothing boutique rolled up into one (or three rather). The 808 Sutter and Hayes street locations are all about sneakers. Retro sneakers, classic Vans, a ton of Nike, along with some brands you're hard pressed to find outside of New York. The sneakers are set up gallery style for maximum effect. Next door to 808 Sutter, 816 Sutter is not so much skate shop as skating lifestyle boutique. Skatewear (including their own line), magazines, DVDs, caps, decks-as-art-canvas--everything an upwardly mobile skater could want is right here.

Ledges and big three block. There is something like a 12 stair inside and about a seven stair on the outside that is super perfect. There is a ledge grind transfer or ollie air gap over some angled grass and a bunch of hittable random ledges on the outside as well as a bank. There is one nice flat bench inside. An amazing spot to hit a line on the backside that is just about built.

These are located at San Francisco State University or SFSU. Here there are many plastic benches availabe for easy grinds and slides. This is a rather fun spot, although there are many people waiting for the bus or waiting in line for coffee. I usually hit this spot up at night or on the weekends so I wouldn't have to worry about those other variables. Also if you progress further into the school there are many different ledges, stairs, and plenty of eye candy to go around. There is even a ledge to a 6 foot drop, but you'll have to search for it to find it.

Also known as the Wallenberg Four, is a popular gap among the skateboard community which is located in a San Francisco school. It measures 6 feet high and 18 feet long. The Wallenberg gap first appeared in Mark Gonzales's part in "Video Days," a 1991 skateboarding video released by Blind Skateboards. More recently, Thrasher skateboard magazine hosted "High Noon at the Big Four" at the infamous spot. While the stair set is still there the school has re-profiled the "run up" to the set so it is no longer possible to use Vega St to gain speed, it has to be obtained from a ramp or roll in.

A huge variety og ledges to grind, manual on, or ollie off.at the huge fountain on market there's a manual pad that you ollie on and its a few inches and you go off and its a couple feet high. You can also grind the side of it wich is next to a long 3 stair. Bottom line is through out the few blocks of civic center there's enough spots to last for hours.
