Skateshops can be intimidating places. And between its warehouse space, its indoor half-pipe, and its huge, daunting selection, KCDC sure looks like one. Luckily though the shop doesn't run like one. Rather you're invited to come in and have a look around whether you're a professional, a seasoned skater or a true beginner. The staff seems to have its eye out for wandering newbies and is eager to help setup their first board. The selection is extensive with shoes, deck, shirts and related gear from all major (and many no so major) skate companies. The space also often plays host to (usually free) art shows, demos, skate video premieres and parties.
