Supreme may have started as a skate shop but it has ended up being a heck of a lot more. The core lineup of pro quality skate gear and clothing is still around and the shop is still infused with skating culture. Meanwhile it's own clothing line has found favor with the streetwear hordes, a Supreme account becoming highly coveted at streetwear boutiques the world over. And its release of the latest Nike SB sneakers begets a motley lot of skaters, sneakerheads and eBay resellers lined up around the block. But with all the hoopla, the store has remained remarkably true to what is and what it does. For an authentic slice of skating culture Supreme is still, well, supreme.

I disagree with the description. I've been there twice, and both times they had a horrible selection of skate gear. The decks were cracked from age because they never restock, and the selection was limited to 12 decks on the wall. They had about 4 different pairs of trucks to choose from. Supreme is more of a Soho clothing boutique than a skate shop. Do yourself a favor and go to New York Pipe Dreams instead.

This is not a skate shop. This, my friends, is a soho boutique that specializes in american subculture for asians. They have cool ideas and clothing if you want to shell out 500 dollars for a hoodie! The workers are condescending and not good at skateboarding. fuck you supreme, go back to smugville from whence you came! assholes.
